This week none of those in the pool won the week. Peter Amacher had a 17/7 to take the week honors and post the highest score yet for these 4 weeks.
5 of those in the pool posted scores of 6 or worse. I thought I heard the weeping and gnashing of teeth on Monday night. Now I know where it came from. But, remember you have drop weeks as long as you play at least 9 of the weeks. Megan continues to lead Allan by one game (2 points). Megan is the only one to post double digit sores in all 4 weeks, averaging 12 points per week. Jerry and Liz tie for third with identical 45/21, one point back of Allan. Jerry takes third on spread points. Joe G 919-847-4704 [email protected]

In honor of the soon to start Tour de France, I’ll start to report these results as if it were a 12 stage tour with only the best 8 stages counting. I’ll designate a stage winner with yellow for that week. And the overall leader at the end of the week will be highlighted with the overall yellow jersey.
Taking the third stage, Liz is the third woman in a row to take the stage win. Liz is highlighted in stage yellow. No man has been able to crack the top stage spot in any week so far. So far the overall yellow jersey has been worn by three different women. This week Megan wears the yellow jersey for overall leader to this point. Allan is close behind wearing second place green jersey. And Bernard, with three consistent stages has edged Catherine for the third place blue jersey. Larry and Jerry missed this stage in search of bigger games out west. After 3 weeks, most people’s spread totals are in double digits. Reversion to the mean?? Stay tuned. Who will win the next stage and who will be the overall leader after the next fourth stage? Joe G 919-847-4704 [email protected] TEAM ESTROGEN LEADS THE WAY !!
Women make up 1/3 of the field but hold down 4 of the top 6 spots including first and second. Jennifer and Megan are tied at the top with Jennifer getting the edge with her superior spread points. This is a cliché but true….”There’s a lot of cribbage to be played yet.” Joe G 919-847-4704 [email protected] |
